the best possible efficiency, and at the same it is important in circuits for the production of high frequency using frequency changers to transfer the useful frequency to the aerial or to an intermediate circuit with time to keep the fundamental frequency away from the aerial or intermediate circuit. T he present invention uses for this purpose a coupling arrangement consisting of an impedance from which the aerial or the intermediate circuit is branched'ofi. This impedance consists of an inductance coil and a condenser which are so dimensioned that they represent a short-circuit for the fundamental frequency.
Referring to Fig. 1, the aerial is coupled to the frequency changer circuit by connecting the aerial to the ends M and N of the branch. The frequency changer circuit is of the type in which the fundamental wave M N. On the other hand, this branch is a high impedance for the useful frequency, so
that the energy of the useful frequency is transferred to the aerial.
as Fig. 2 shows an arrangement according to Serial 1%. ?53,76E and in Germany Shecemherfi, 19%.
the invention coupling an intermediate circuit S to the frequency changer circuit.
Having described my invention, I am entitled to all modifications thereof as fall fairly within the scope of the followingclaims:
1. In a device for transforming the frequency of an alternating current from a given value to another, an iron core choke coil for frequency multiplication, a source of "undamental frequency and a series tuned circuit tuned to said fundamental frequency, all connected electrically in series, and a consumption circuit shunted across said series tuned circuit. 2. In a device for transforming alternating current energy of one frequency into energy of another frequency, a fundamental frequency generator, a frequency multiplication device and means comprising a series ar-' ranged self-inductance and capacity in resonance for the fundamental frequency all connected electrically in series and a circuit tuned to the frequency of the transformed energy shunted across said series resonance arrangement.
3. A frequency changer circuit comprising a fundamental frequency generator, an iron core choke coil for frequency multiplication and a. series resonance circuit tuned to the fundamental frequency all connected electrically in series, a condenser shunted across said generator, a resonating circuit shunted across said series resonance circuit and a utilizing circuit coupled to said resonating circuit.
