If an earof corn is broken from the stalk without being Vshorn of its shucks, it will fall through the hopper H and land upon one or the other of the pairs of rollers just vdescribed, adjust-ing itself p longitudinally of f use in Corn shncking machines, and I make no claim to said shucking rollers except in combination with'the mechanism that I employ for breaking the corn from thel stalk. In order that the sl-edge 1 may be easily moved in the course of the cornl h usking operation, I provide a drinn 44 loosely mounted on the vshaft 14, said vroller being 'capable ofl connection with the shaftby means of the clutch members 45, 461of a f clutch, the member`45 being feathered on the shaft 14, and operated into andout of engagement with the member 46' fixed to drum 44 by means of a shift lever 47. Having described my invention I claim: 1. A corn-husking 'machine comprising a platform, said platform having a slot, provices.
