Description

Patented May 17, 1927.
GUSTAF ALBERT ARONSON, F STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN.
SECTION FOR STOVES 0R THE LIKE.
Application filed May 3, 1926, Serial No.
This invention relates toV a section forv stoves or the like, which section consists of a number of approximately vertical bars ot potstone, chamotte or other suitable ma terial, which bars have a round or essentially round cross section and which suitably are joined to each other by means of an ad-V hesive also serving as stopping between the bars. v A stove section made according to this invent-ion offers the advantage of the inner heat absorbing surface as well as the outer heat radiating surface of the section becoming considerably larger than the corresponding surfaces of usual stove sections of the same size. From the manufacturing point of view the section offers the advantage, that it may be made at a low cost and, Y
in consequence of its form, with the greatest possible saving of material.
A stove section according to this invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. Fig. l is a vertical and F ig. 2 a horizontal section of the stove section.y
The stove section consists of a number of approximately vertical bars l having round cross sectional torni and being made of potstone, chamottc or another suitable material. Each bar is provided with al longitudinal 106,250, and in Sweden January 26, 1925.
groove 2 engaged by the adjacent bar. In 30 the groove 2 is` placed an adhesive 3 between the two bars, said adhesive serving'as a stoppage between the bars. The different sections are built together in a suitable way for example by means of frames (or parts k orv frames) 4 which are mounted on the upper and the lower side of each section and which may be so arranged, that the frame on the lower side of a section engages or embraces the frame on the upper side of 4o the adjacent section, or vice versa.
Having now described my invention, fwhat I claim as new and desire to secure'by Letters Patent is:
l. A ceramic heating furnace formed of individual. superimposed sections, each thereof comprising vertical juxtaposed substantially round bars of Ceramic material, anda binding medium for uniting one bar to another.
'2. A heating furnace, as claimed in claim l, in which each of said bars of ceramic material is recessed longitudinally thereof for vthe reception oi said binding medium, and which recess the adjacent. bar engages.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto signed my name. u
GUTAFl ALBERT AR-ONSON.
