This invention relates to the removalof temporary fasteners such as are used to clamp heels to shoes and. lasts, and 1s illustrated as embodied in a power-drivenscrew removing machine,
According to an improved method of at-- taching heels disclosed and claimed in copending application, Serial No. 367,173, filed March 19, 1920, in the name of M, ,V. Bresnahan, each heel is clamped temporarily against the heel seat of a shoe on a perforated last by'means of a screw fastener pass;
