This invention relates to carrying frames,

in which bottles oiy oil or thelike may be con-J veniently carriedy from one place'to another.

An objectot the inventionis to provide an improved trame constructed and arranged to support familiar vtypes of oil containing bottles having spouts for the discharge of the oil, and means in connection with the 'iframe for covering the'open ends of the variousv spouts, andl a yhandle structure supporting said means. i K

Another object of the invention is; to provide an improved trame for supporting-and carrying and protecting oil containing bottles possessing the advantages herein disclosed, reference`r being made to the drawing, in which Fig; 1; is a yplan View of my improved frame. l

In the embodiment of the invention shown, the bottom of the ramefis in the form` of 'a pan. This bottom i's` preferably made of sheet metal and includes `a bottom Wall 1 pressed to provide upraised circular elevations 2, for the respective bottles, and a surrounding lupturned flange 3. This panV Will catch and prevent the oil from dripping from the trame. As shown, the bottles are seated upon the respective elevations 2.

The upper portion of the frame comprises a plate 4 shaped or formed `to provide openings 5 in vertical alinement With the bottom elevations 2 and through which the bottles 6 are passed into and Withdrawn from the frame. Each of the openings 5 is surrounded by a downwardly extended ange 7 serving to strengthen the structure. The plate 4f is also surounded by a depending marginal fla-nge 8. The flanges 8 at the sides are connected With the flanges 3 oi' the bottom Wall by plates 9 and at the ends by .plates 10 pressed to form channels through which the downwardly extended ends ot the handle supporting bar 11 extend. The ends of the handle supporting bar'll are secured to the flange 8 of the bottom by rivets 12 and to the flange 8 by rivets 13. This handle supporting bar extends longitudinally throughout the length of the frame and khas a down- Wandly vbent central portion 14v through- Which the ends of the bail 15 extend. In the construction shown, the frame is designed and adapted to. support two'rovvsy of bottles, each row comprising four bottles, thus rendering the frame easily. portable when containing a considerable quantity of oil. The frame may be manufactured and vSold at comparatively low cost. It is strong and durable-and easilyw carried. v The structure and relationship of the parts may be varied equivalently without departure from the prmciple of the invention.l
