Other objects andadvantages reside in the special construction and combination of the various elements constituting the invention, reference being had to the accompanying drawings forming a part hereof, wherein Figure 1 is a perspective view showing my invention in operative position.

Referring to the drawings in detail, I have shown my invention comprising an eye shield indicated at 5 of a generally rectangular c0nstruction and having its bottom portion shaped to snugly iit over the eyes oit a patient and having a lower partition 6 set tightly inwardly from the bottom edge of the shield and in substantially parallel relation therewith, said partition forming a 'compartment therebetween, and with the upper edge of the shield, within which is mounted a'pair of heating elements 7 in the nature of electric coils. Electric wires 10 extend from theheating element to a switch box indicated at 11 which may be mounted in any suitable position remote from the shield 5. The compartment within the shield is lined with a suitable heat insulation material indicated at 12 arranged along the top and sides ot the shield so that the heat generated within the compartment by means of the heating element will be directed against the partition 6which, *when* arranged in operative position, is disposed slightly above the eyes of the patient.. Y The partition 6 is preferably constructed a suitable heat absorbing light weight'nietal., such as alun'iinum. oit-the like, wherebyvthe heat generated .within the compartmentwill be quickly transmitted therethrough and at the same time protects the eyes of the from the direct force of the heat. 'Ihe partition 6 is formedinto sections secured at their sides to the sides of the shield and their inner adjacent edges 8 and above the partition in spaced relation therefrom, thereby forming pockets for retaining the heating element therein. The adjacent edges of the partition are spaced apart with a nose guard 9 interposed therebetween.
The switchbox 11 is preferably constructed of insulation material having a cover plate 11 removably iitted thereon into which eX- tends a pair of switch handles 14, each handle operating switch 14 arranged within the switch boi: and connected bythe wire 10 from the control of one vof .the heating elements 7 within the shield. A rheostat 15 is Valso mounted within the switch box having an operating handle 16 extending therefrom outwardly of the box, whereby to regulate the intensity of the heat transmitted to the heating element. A cable 17 connects the rheostat with the outside by means of a plug 18. A Y
