The invention condo not confine myself to the particular templates also in connection with said grindgrinding or crushing means shown. ing and crushing means a plate 9 that is What I claim is hinged at its upper end upon a rod 10 dis- 1. In combination with a crushing or posed transversely in the upper part of the grinding means including a housing having hopper, said plate forming a movable bota hopper, a crushing chamber with a grating tom for said hopper; and a gyrating plate in the bottom thereof, and a rotor in said 11 positioned between the breaker plate 8 chamber, a breaker plate in cooperative reand the movable bottom 9 of-t-he hopper. lation with said rotor; a pendant hinged The upper end of the'gyrating plate 11 is plate forming a movable bottom for said mounted upon a crank 12, and the lower end hopper; a feeding means comprising a gyof said plate is provided with a shoe 18 fixed rating plate positioned between said movable thereon, the outer portion of which is tapered bottom and said breaker plate, the lower end to a sharp edge and bears upon the breaker of said gyrating plate having reciprocating plate 8 while the lower end of the movable movement on said breaker plate and sliding contact with said movable bottom; and transmitting means in connection with said rot-or imparting movement to said feeding means.
2. In combination with a crushing or grinding means including a rotor and a breaker plate, a hinged plate spaced above said breaker plate; a gyrating feed plate positioned between said hinged plate and breaker plate and having sliding contact at its lower end with said breaker plate, said swinging platehaving sliding contact at its lower end on said feed plate adjacent the lower end thereof; and means for actuating said rotor and feed plate.
3. In combination with a crushing or grinding means including. a breaker plate and a rotor, two movable plates one of which s superimposed upon said breaker plate and rtends beneath the other movable plate, and
has sliding contact at one end portion thereof upon said breaker plate and with the corresponding end of said other movable plate; and means for actuating said intermediate plate and rotor simultaneously.
4:. In combination with a crushing or grinding means including a breaker plate and a hopper, a swinging bottom member in said hopper spaced above said breaker plate, and a reciprocating feed member disposed between said bottom member and breaker plate, one end of said feed member having scraping action on said breaker plate, and the lower end of said bottom member having scraping action onsaid feed member as said feed member is actuated whereby plastic material passing from said hopper into said hopper onto said breaker plate is prevented from massing on said feed member and breaker plate.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature.
