THEODORE C. SCHULTZ, F RIVER FOREST, ILLINOIS, ASSIGNOR TO THE TRIBUNE COMPANY, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, A CORPORATION OF ILLINOIS.
REGISTERING TABLE.
Application filed se ptember 27, 1922. Serial No. 590,861.
To all whom z'tmay concern: bars 19 of the rectangular frame. These Be it known that I, THEODORE OSOKULTZ, consist of split tubular bosses 21' that have a citizen of the United States, residing at lugs 22 projecting from the split ends, River Forest, in the county of Cook and through which a set-screw 23 is tapped.
State of Illinois, have invented certain new By tightening the screw 23 said tubular 60 and useful Improvements in Registering supports 21 can be secured anywhere along Tables, of which the following is a full, the length of rods 17 and cross-bars 19. clear, and exact description, Each Of these bosses 21? have a Split tubu- My invention relates to layout tables for lar boss 24. arising therefrom Whose axis 1 registering films as yellow, red, blue, and is at right angles thereto, and a shaft 25 5 blo k h r nti a rt of a m l t is inserted through the bore of this latter set of color films for one picture. boss 24, that can be adjusted lengthwise in Th bj t f my i tio i t d thi sald boss to any position within its length, Work easily, accurately, and quickly, by and secured in such position by a set-screw means that accurately maintain the relative 2 tapped through split lugs projecting lat- 70 position of the individual color films to one erally fr m the split boss 24:. another substantially as hereinafter fully On the end of shaft 25 projecting inward d rib d, over the glass 13, is a needle holder car- In th dr i g rier. This carrier consists of a tubular boss Fi 1 i a id i f my i ti 27 that IS keyed to said shaft, and this boss 75 Fi 9, i l i th f has a lateral lug 28 that has a downwardly Figure 3 is a, side iew of t needle and (llSPOSGd vertical tubular P01131011 28 down holder therefor segregated and drawn to a through h h a S reW 29 is tapped axially. lar r scale The upper end of. this screw has a milled Fi 4 i a l i th i circulan head 30 by means or which it can Fi 5 i an d i th f be manipulated and the lower end of said Fi 6 i d t il i h i a f screw is tapered and has a downwardly ext f th t i ti tending needle 31 secured axially therein.
