This process of assembling the 'previously prepared parts, is Very rapid, safe, the iinished product highly satisfactory. rEhe container may be 'formed of material oi" sutilcient thickness to so strongly restrain the explosive that a loud report Will be caused at the time of explosion, and may be further reinforced by any ordinary outer tubular shell into which it may be inserted to any desired position7 with the two ends ot the fuse extending therefrom for lighting.
The several parts are further specified by the numerals, as l, the secondary tube or plug in finished condition, With the oppositely positioned longitudinal grooves 2 oi suitable size for containing the ordinary ignition `fuse 3 for tirecraclers, which is bent over the closed end lof the tubular plug.

By providing the grooves along the Walls of the tubular member plug, the fuse is in no place so tightly Compressed that the lire Will become choked thereby, as frequently occurs in the ordinary methods and formation of lire Crackers, and zit the sinne time the container' tube and the plug; 1ne1nber may be so snugly adjusted the one Within the other that no loss of explosive force can ooeur bet-Ween them. The loop portion of the fuse being bent over the Closed end of the plug when inserted, assures that it will be pressed against the eharge, and' the same fired by igniting; either of the fuse ends.
