What I claim is i 1. A truss system comprising hangers for engaging I beams of a building, some of the no hangers having hooks thereon for engaging the I beams and each'hanger havmg a plurality" of holes therein, bolts pass ng through certain of the holes in the hangers,
nuts for holding the bolts in the hangers,
a beam and plates at the ends of the same having holes therein through which the bolts pass and truss means for the beam, such means consisting of a frame connected with the beam, a cable passing over the frame, members passing through holes in the plates at the ends'of the beam, a turnbuckle arrangement connected with one memher and to which one end of the cable is connected and clamping means for adjustablyconnecting the other end of the cable with the other member after the cable has been passed through an eye in said last men- 25 tioned member.
