My invention comprises a center sheet A of suitable material, such as cardboard, having mounted upon its opposite sides and se' cured thereto the backing sheets B upon which are mounted the corrugated sheets C. The backing sheets and the corrugated sheets are preferably made'of cardboard or some similar substance. The corrugated sheets C engage the center sheet A and the corrugations thereof extend preferably at substantially right angles to one another; A covering D, of muslin or any other suitable material, extends about vand over the backing sheets B and is preferably secured thereupon by means of rows of stitching E passing through the muslin cover, the backing sheets, the corrugated sheets and the center sheet. Edging F is secured along the edge of the pad by one or more rows of stitching E. The edging F may be of any one another in a manner well known and common to the art.
