What I claim is I I 1. A basket of the class described comprising a handle part of rectangular shape having eyes on its lower bar,. a pair of end vframes havlng eyes thereon engaging the eyes of the handle part, a pair of end frames hingedly connected with the outer ends of the bottom frames, a flexible covering connected with the frames and chains extending from the outer corners of the bottom frames to the side bars of the handle part.

2. A basket of the class described comprising a rectangular shaped handle part, a

.7 a pair of bottom frames hingedly connected with the lower part of the handle part, a pair of end frames hingedly connected with the outer ends of the bottom frames and a flexible covering connected with theframes and having side portions connected with the side bars of the handle part,

A basket consisting of a wire framework having a canvas covering and lining therefor, said framework comprising a rec tangular handle portion, a pair of bottom frames and a pair of end frames, said handle portion having eyesrformed adjacent each end of the lower bar engaging eyes formed at the ends of said bottom frames, said bottom frames'being formed of a single the end frame engaging an eye formed at the center of the bight of each of the bottom frames, a spring located on the bight of the strip forming the bottoln frame and having one end secured to the bottom frame and its other end engaging the last mentioned cross piece of each end frame,- said springs being arranged to hold theendframes in upright position, chains located outside said cover'to prevent the end frames from swing downwardly beyond the horizontal mg plane.
