Be it known that L'B'URP. R. SKINNER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Aberdeen, in the county of Brown andtate of South Dakota, have invented a new and useful Necktie. lFormer and Holder, of which the following is aspecification, reference being had to the accompanying draw ings,eand tothe letters. and figures of referencel marked thereon.

This invention relates to 'a yholder on which a neck-tie maybe formed artistically and heldin connection with a shirt collar by means of a collar button commonly used in the neck band of shirts or similar garments, the invention having reference more particularly to a combined former and holder that is adapted to be adj ustably connected to a collar button to hold a neck-tie inproper relation either to a high or to a relatively low turn-down collar.

An object of the invention is to provide an improved neck-tie former and holder which shall be so constructed as to permit,

a neck-tieV to be easily formed or artistically hung thereon, and whereby the neck-tie may be easily and quickly secured inV connection with a garment collar or .to be easily-re moved from the collar.

' Another'object is to provide an improved neck-tie former and holder which shall be of such design as to be adapted vto be constructed of few and simple inexpensive parts', and especially of scrap sheet metal, and of flexible character permittingthe user to readily bend and re-shape theV former and holder to the curvature'of different sizes of collars or neck bands. 'i v` A further Objectis to provide an improved neck-tie former and holder which shall be so constructed as to beV adapted to lbe firmly secured in different positionsto a collar button, and on which a string-tie or a four-in-ha-nd7 neck-tie may be artistically formed and held in place in connection with a collar, and which shall be adapted to be durable and economical in use.
