POLISHING COMPOSITION.

Be it known that I, FRANK M. TAYLOR, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Sioim City, in the county of Woodbury and State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Polishing Compositions, of which the following is a specification.
This invention has for its object the production of an improved polishing composition particularly adapted for polishing varnished surfaces, and so compounded as to give a high lustre to the surface, yet leaving no grease thereon.
Furthermore the invention contemplates a. polishing composition adapted to give a high lustre to varnished surfaces, which may be applied with a minimum of effort and Which will not injure nor deaden the original lustre of a highly polished varnish surface.
My composition consists of the following ingredients combined preferably in the pro portions stated:
Percent. 5 oz. denatured alcohol 31.25 10 oz. paraffin oil 62.5
oz. shellac. (preferably White)--- 3.125 oz. oil of citronella .7812 :1 oz. alka-net root 1.5625 oz. oil of mirbane .7812

2. A polishing composition consisting of the following ingredients combined approximately in the per cents stated, to Wit:
5 oz. denatured alcohol, 31.25%, paraffin oil, 62.5%, shellac (preferably White), 3.125%, oil of citronella, .7812%, alkanet root, 1.5625%, oil of mirbane, .7812%.
