To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, VVILLIAM; B. BRAUCHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ventilators, of which the following is a specification.
- This invention relates particularly to ventilators of the injector and" ejector type, and is especially adapted and intended for use in connection with motor vehicles, for the purpose of ventilating closed vehicles of that type having liding windows. The device .is however capable of use on railway cars houses andvarious other places.

Referring specifically to the drawing, 6 indicates aboard the thickness of which is preferably the same as the thickness of the windowpaneindicated at 7 to which the board is applied edgewise by means of a pair of strips 8, secured to the lower edge of the board and forming a channel to receive the edge of the pane, whereby the board can be inserted in the window frame by lowering the pane sufficiently, the le'ng'thof the board being preferably equal to the'length of the upper edgeof the pane.

When not in use, the board can be removed from the window and stored within the car, in any convenient-place. The device therefore provides simple and efiective means for window ventilation without e'posing the occupants of the car to a direct draft. 1 I claim: 1.
