Light-Signals, of which the following is .a specification. v j This invention relates to an improved, construction and method of operation of light signals. v One object of the'invention is to providea mechanism which will operate to give three indications and which is arranged to nor-v mally givethe danger or stop indication. In a signal mechanism, a supporting member, a movable member adapted to carry spectacles, flexible suspensions adapted to suspend said movable member from said supporting member, solenoid coils on said supporting member, coacting cores attached to'said movable member to be moved to one side or the other respectively, an armature: carried by said movable member, electromagnetic means adapted to coact with said armature to retain the movable member in a central position, a signal light, a source of energy, a closed circuit through said signal light and said electromagnetic means in series whereby the light will be extinguished upon the opening of the circuit of the electromagneticmeans, and means for controlling the energization of said solenoids whereby the movable member may be causedto assume different positions.
