The present invention relates to distributfor magnetos associated combustion engines for igniwith. 'nternal I tion of the combustible mixtures therein, and

In distributing mechanism for a magneto of the sleeve type having a statipinary armature and a rotatable magnetic sleeve; primary and secondary windings mounted on the armature; an electrical connection eX- Y tending from the primary winding to a point outside of the armature at. one end thereof; an electrical connection extending from the secondary winding at the other end of the armatureand comprising a stationary segment connected to the secondary winding, a brush carried by the sleeve for engagement with said segment, and a collector segment electrically connected to said brushv and carried by said sleeve; and a stationary collector brush mounted for engagement with the collector segment.

In distributing mechanism for a niagneto of the sleeve type having a stationary armature and a rotatable magnetic sleeve; independent primary and secondary windings mounted on the armature; an electrical connection extending from the primary winding to a point outside of thearmature lat one end thereof; independent electrical connections extending from the secondary winding at the other end .of the armature and comprising a pair of stationar f segments connected to the respective terminals of the secondary winding, a pair of brushes carried by `the sleeve for .simultaneous engagement with said segments, and a pair of collector segments electrically `connected to said brushes respectively and carried by said sleeve; and a stationary pair of collector.
