Yiaou, L. llieiitruxiir, a citizen of the l'nited States. and resident ot' llvanston. count) of (`ool and State of Illinois, have invented certain nevi and useful Improvements in Powder lloxcs. of whieh the following is a specitication. and which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. forming a part thereof.
The object of the invention is the provision of a powder box and pnfl' holder which shall be more convenient for use than artclw of the sort heretofore known.

As illustrated, the box comprises a cover 1t) which cover is preferably provided with a mirror, as 11, held in place by the metal ot' the cover being turned thereabout. as indicated at 1Q. The sides of the box are in dicated at 13 and the bottoni at i4, which bottom is perforated or foraminous, as indicated at 15.
