IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED HEATER AND STAND FOR TABLE PURPOSES.
Speciication forming part of Letters Patent No. 120,233, dated October 24, 1871 antedated October 17, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EMILIE A. BEARDsLEY, of Binghamton, in the county of Broome and State or' New York, have invented a Combined Heater and Stand for Table Purposes; and I do hereby declare that the followin g is afull, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this speciiication.
Ihis invention consists in a block of steatite or other natural or artificial stone arranged with in a metal stand. The block being heated before being placed in the stand will, by reason of the heat-retaining property ofthe stone, keep Warm for a long time any dish or other article placed on the stand.
In the accompanying drawing, Figure lis a plan of my combined heater and stand. Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same. Fig. 3 is a plan of the stand alone.
