Further objects of the invention are to provide a trolley which is unusually simple in its construction and arrangement, strong, durable. readily assembled, efficient in its use. and inexpensive.
\Vith the foregoing and other objects in" view the invention consists of the novel con struction, combination and arrangement of parts as hereinafter more specifically described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein is shown an embodiment of the invention. but it is to be understood that changes, variations and modifications can be resorted to which come within the scope of the claims hereunto appended.
In the drawings wherein like reference characters denote corresponding parts throughout the several views :-Figure 1 is a sectional elevation of a trolley in accordance with this invention. I 13112 is a rear elevation.
Referring to the drawings in detail 1 denotes a trolley pole, having formed integral with its upper end a hollow semi-cylindrical member 2 which is olfset at its bottom as at 3. Associating with the member 2 is a semicylindrical member 4- mounted upon the oil'- set portion 3 and connected with the member 2 by detachable securing devices 5.

The reference character 8 denotes a harp having mounted in the arms thereof a shaft 9, which carries a trolley wheel 10. Formed integral with the base 11 of the harp 8 and depending therefrom is a stem 12 which has oneside thereof cut away as at 13. The
lower end of the stem 12 terminates in a globular head 11 which is seated in the cylin-- drical socket 6. r The stem 12 extends through the channel 7.
Arranged within the channel 7, is a coiledspring 15, which opposes the cut away portion 13 and one end of the spring 15 is fixedly secured, as at- 16. to the stem 12, and.
the other end of the spring 15 is fix edly secured as at 17, to the member 2. The function of the spring 15 is to tend to main tain the trolley wheel 10 in normal position, that is to say if the harp 8 is shifted at an angle, carrying the wheel 10 therewith, the i said shifting movement will be against the action of the spring 15, and at the hnut of such nrovement the spring 15 will restore the harp to normal position. lVhen the harp is shifted the stem 12 will be carried therewith.

What I claim is 1. A trolley comprising a pole having its upper end provided with a hollow semicylindrical member formed with a lateral offset at its joinder with the pole, a hollow semi-cylindrical member opposing the other member and seated on said offset, means for connecting said members together, said members forming a channel and having their lower ends provided with means to form a spherical socket, a harp carrying a trolley wheel and provided with a stem 'fOIll'lOtl with a globular head, said stem mounted in said channel and said head seated in said socket, and a resilient connection between said stem and one of said members.
2. A trolley comprising a pole having its upper end provided with a hollow semi-cylindrical member formed with a lateral offset at its joinder with the pole, a hollow semi-cylindrical member opposing the other member and seated on said offset, means for connecting said members together, said members forming a channel and having their lower ends provided with means to form a spherical socket, a harp carrying a trolley wheel and provided with a stem formed with a globular head, said stem mounted in said channel and said head seated in said socket,
. a longitudinally extending resilient connec tion between the stem and one of said means, and said stem having a longitudinal'groove to provide a clearance for said resilient connection.
3. A trolley comprising a polehaving its said stem integral with the base of the harp said members,
and extending in the same axial line through 4.
