TENT CONSTRUCTION.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CLEMENS DRoHovrrrr, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore and State of Maryland, have invented new and useful Improvements in Tent Constructions, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a tent construction.
In carrying out my invention I propose to produce a tent construction wherem the elements comprising the same are removable or detachable so that the device may be readily folded into a small compact bundle for storage or shipment.
I also propose to produce a tent construction comprising separable parts which may be easily and quickly associated so that the device may be readily set up as a tent. The device is provided with a detachable bed bottom and with hinged means for supporting a fabric covering which will fully protect the user of the bed. Either side of the said fabric covering may be elevated with respect to the side of the tent structure proper, so that suitable ventilating and shading means is thus afiorded the occupant of the tent. In addition to this, the tent proper may be and preferably is provided with a netting so that the occupant thereof will be protected from insects, while the non-reticulated outer covering may be retained in an open condition to protect the occupant of the bed from the suns rays or from other lights without interfering with the proper ventilation of the tent.
It is a still further object of the invention to produce a tent construction wherein the device may be employed as a selling booth, if desired, and the contents of the booth fully protected from insects and weather conditions.
The foregoing objects, and others which will appear as the nature of the invention is better understood, may be accomplished by a construction, combination and operative arrangement of parts suchasiillustrated by.
the accompanying drawings; 7 In the drawings:
