A device of the class described comprising a platform, a sleeve at each corner thereof, mounting posts provided through the said sleeves, adjustment retaining connections between the said sleeves and posts, a throwing arm hinged to the platform, a trigger mechanism for the said arm, an inverted V-shaped leaf spring carried by the platform within the path of movement of the arm and having its free end normally spaced from the platform forming a limiting stop for the operation of the springmnd a buffer adjacent the upper endof thespring adapted for contact by the arm during the throwing operation.
