A machine of the kind'describd coniprisi-ng a fixed s `aft, vwo frames mounted to rock together thereon, a rotary shaft mounted in each frame, a cutter mounted on one' end of each rotary shaft, said cutters overlapping to engage the work at the same point, an adjustable work support adjacent to said cutters, and means to adjust the relation of said cutters to each other, and means to adjust the cutters with relation to the work support.

A machine of the kinddescribed comprising a fixed shaft, two frames mounted to rocktogether thereon, a rotary shaft mounted in each frame, a cutter mounted on one end of eachrotary shaft, said cutters overlapping to engage the work at the same point, a. work support adjacent to said cutters, and means to adjustI the height of said cutters with relation to said work support,
said means comprising a screw passing,
through said frame and means to engage the lower "end of said screw whereby the turning o f said screw will raise or lower said frames about said stationary shaft.

A machine of the kind described comprising a fixed shaft, two' frames mounted to roclc together thereoin; .rotary shaft mounted in each frame, a cutter mounted ou one end of each rotary shaft, said cutters overlapping to engage the work at the same point, a work support adjacent to said cutters, and means to adjust the height of said cutters with relation to said work support, said means comprising a screw passing through said frame and n'icaiis to engage the lower end of said screw whereby the turning of saidscrew will raise or lower said frames about said stationary shaft, said last-named means comprising a Wedge and means for.
moving it to wdjust the-height of the point l of its engagement with said screw.
9. A machine of the kind described oomi prising a fixed shaft, two frames mounted to rocl: together thereon, a rotary shaft,

' combination with a cutting mechanism, a
work support and means for supporting it comprising threaded u rights, a nut on each upright, a block resting on said nut, the upper' end of each upright being slotted and the work support being provided with axles resting in said slots and on said blocks.

In a machine of the kind described, a base, an axle mounted thereon,` rocking frames mounted on. said axle, means for adjusting the angle of saidrocking frames to each other, shafts mounted on said frames, a cutter mounted on each shaft, means for rotating said cutters, a Work support one edge of which` is, in close proximity to said cutters, and means for adjusting the height of the cutters with relation to the adjacent edge of said work support.
