the county of Cambria and State of Pennsyl- Vania, have invented certain new and useful lmprovements 1n Refrigerators, of whlch the following 1s a speclfcatlon, reference bein had to the accompanying drawings.

.While we do not wish to be limited as to the exact formation of these protuberances, it is preferred that the. same be substantially Semi-spherical.

Permanently secured to' the corners 0f the l with a similar bead-11a to receive cap 5 of the bottom wall or panel C are the supporting legs L which coact with the adjacent ianges 6, and the u per portion of each leg L is pressed outwar y or otherwise constructed toai'ord a socket 9 to receive the lower extremity of a corner iron 10 angular in cross section and which' coacts with the vertical panels A, when assembled, in a well known manner.
'lhel lower end portion of said corner iron 10 is provided with an outstanding bead 11 aording a recess to receive the adjacent beads 7 of the bottom cap 5, while the opposite end portion of the rod is provlded the adjacent beads 7 of the top cap 5.
Disposed around the flan es 6 of the top cap 5 and above the beads 7 t ereof is a strap 12 which also overlies the portions of the corner irons 10 above the beads 11 thereof, and the extremities of said strap 12 are operatively trated in Fig. 4, whereby it will be perceived that said strap 12 may be readily and confl veniently adjusted in order to eHectively maintain the corner irons 10 inoperative position and consequently hold the walls or panels A, B and C in assembled relation, We wish to state however that we do not desire to limit ourselves to the use of a latch 14 as any other means may be employed for imparting the requisite tension upon the strap 12 as the requirements of practice will permit.
D denotes anice bunker adapted to be supported within the chamber of the refrigerator and supported by the cleats 15 carried by certain of the vertical walls A, and as herein embodied, said bunker D includes the base member 16 and the upstanding end members 17 and the rear or back member 18, said members 17 and 18 being pivotally engaged with the base 16 and adapted to be folded thereupon when not in use so that a minimum of space will be occupied'by the bunker D especially when the same is being transported.
The members 17' and 18 may have'coacting therewith the suitable locking-means as indicated at 19 for maintaining the same in elevated position or if preferred said members 17 and 18 may be permitted to rest against the adjacent vertical walls A. when the bunker D is in applied position within the refrigerator.
The upper edge of each of the legs L adjacent the socket 9 is provided with the cut# out portion or recess 20 in order to facilitate the` application of .a 4corner iron or upright 10. l j
From the foregoing description, it is thought to be obvious that a refrigerator constructed in accordance with our inven- 'tion` is of an extremely simple and comparatively inexpensive nature and is par engaged with the latch 14, as illus' ticularly well adapted for use by reason of the convenience and facility with which it may be assembled, and it will also be obvious that our invention is susceptible of some change and modification without material departure from the principles and spirit thereof 'and for this reason we do not wish to be understood as limitin ourselves to the precise arrangement and ormation of the several parts herein shown in carrying out our invention in practice, except as hereinafter claimed.
We claim:
1. A device of the character described comprising a top panel', a bottom panel, de tachable vertical panels interposed between the top panel and the bottom panel, supporting legs secured to the bottom panel, uprights detachably engaged with the legs and overlying the adjacent margins of the vertical panelsfor maintaining the same in assembled relation, and means coacting with the top panel and the uprights for maintaining said uprights in applied position.
2. A device of the character described comprising a top panel, a bottom panel, detachable vertical panels interposed between the top panel and the bottom panel, supporting legs secured tothe bottom panel, each of said legs being provided with a socket, an upright insertible within said socket and coactln with the adjacent margins of the vertica. panels for maintaining the same in assembled relation, and means coacting with the top panel and the upright for hol ing said upright in applied osition.
3. A device of the character escribed comprising a to panel, a bottom anel, detachable vertica panels interposed) between ,the top panel and the bottom panel, suplcomprising a to panel, a bottom anel, de-
tachable vertica panels interpose between .the top panel and the bottom panel, supporting legs secured to the bottom panel, uprights detachably engaged with the legs and coacting with the adjacent margins of the vertical panels for maintaining the same in assembled relation, and means coacting with the top panel and the uprights for maintaining said uprights in applied position, each of said uprights and the top panel being provided with interlocking means.

6. A device of the character described comprising a top panel, a bottom panel, detachable vertical anels interposed between the top panel an the bottom panelsup .porting legs secured `to the bottom panel,
uprights detachably engaged with the legs and overlying the adjacent margins of the Vertical panels for maintaining the same in `members carried by the bottom panel to afford sockets, detachable vertical panels interposed between the top panel and the bot-y tom panel, uprights insertible within the sockets of the bottom panel and coacting with the adjacent margins of the vertical panels for maintaining the same in assembled relation, and means coacting with the upper portions of the uprights for holding said uprights in applied position.
