Dana; a citizen of the United States, residing at Chiin the county of Cook and State oi lllinois, have invented a certain new and us. improvement in Brackets for Loconiouveiieedlights, of which the following is a specification invention relates to improvements in brackets for electric headlights and the like and has for one object to provide a new and implored form of light bracket which will support a source of light and which will en' able it to be conveniently and accurately adjusted in position to focus ii; in the reilecion ohiects of the invention will develop in the course of the specification.

The invention, therefore, is illustrated in the acmmpanying drawings, wherein- Figure l is a section through a head case showing the electric bracket in elevation;

A is a platform or base upon which is mounted the headlight case A having a hinged rear door A and a front glass A". A parabolic mirror or reflector A is contained within the case and held in position by any suitable means here indicated as screws A engaging the ring A in the case. This parabolic reflector is provided with a central aperture at its bottom as indicated.

B is a foundation block resting on the hose A. It has rigidly mounted thereon a bracket base B. This bracket base B has upwardly projecting from it a supporting arm B which extends rearwardly and upwardl from the base and which carries a rectangular frame B.

I claim:

A support for locomotive headlights and the like comprising a fixed bracket, means for supporting an electric light and for moving it in a horizontal plane along two lines perpendicular one to the other and means for moving it along ertical line perpendicular to the two horizontal lines, said means comprising a series of separate sliding members and means for moving them and locking them in position.

11?. In a locomotive headlight the combination with a parabolic reflector of a light supporting bracket, means comprising three separate curved surfaces on said bracket for engaging the outside of the reflector adjacent its focus and holding it in position wlth respect to the bracket.
