To all whom it may concern Y Be yit'known that I, PAUL Morin, a. subject ofthe Emperor of Germany, residing atv Seattle, in the county ofLKingr and State ofA Vashington, have inventeda certain new and useful Improvement in Brush-Holders,
of vwhich the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in adjustably yielding devices that embody mechanisms which are associated with brushes and flexiblemeans for conducting water to a desired lpoint withprespect to the position of such brushes, which devices `are adapted' to be yemployed in the operation oiil 'i cleaning the inside of fish, and the object of my improvement is to provide a simply constructed holder for brushes that shall be adapted to be. adjusted to hold the brushes with their planesat a desired angle fwith4 respect to a horizontal vline andthatshallbe further adapted to yield from its nornial positionA soA that such brushes may recede `from their normal positions for a distance ,proportional to the pressure imparted to them by the sh that is being cleaned without changing thegangularposition of the brushes with respect to a horizontal line, and a further .ob-
ject is to.providemeans` for`supplying'a stream off-water to such brushes to maintain them clean `irrespective of their varyduring their operation of cleaning fish. Referring tothe accompanying drawings inwhich like reference *numerals indicate like parts, 5 and 6 are two brush-backs that are each provided with short bristles 7v on one portion of their upper sides while another portion thereof is provided with longer bristles' 8, such brush-backs 5 and 6 being secured together at approximately right angles to each other by a metal .plate 9` to form a brush of the shape of an inverted letter V, the longer bristles 8 forming a ridge at the apex-of the brush as illustrated inFigs.2aiid3. p Secured to the back surface of each of the ing movements from their normal positions end portions of the metal plate 9 are oppositely disposed brackets -10which brackets 10 of one of saidk end portions serve as-pivot supports for a T shaped trunnionl 11 while the like brackets of the other of saidend' portions of said plate 9 in a'like manner i serve to support the pivots of a simi lartruny nion 12, the `shank portion 14 of said trunnion 12 being longer than the shank portion 13s-of the trunnion 11, as shown more clearly in Fig. 1.
