In the drawings I have illustrated my invention embodied in a car having an understructure comprising a center sill 2 and transverse arms 3, the outer ends of the arms 3 having the side stakes 4, which support the swinging side walls-5y in a well known manner, mounted thereon, these parts being of any well known or approved construction.

In using a car embodying my invention the movable side floor members ywill be lowered on both sides of the car when the load is to :be plowed ofi1 to each side. When the load is to be plowed oft to one-side only the Vfloor `members on the opposite side will'be raised. To raise and lock these members it 'is only necessary `to swing them up a slight --distance above the fixed floor and then swing the lock bars 25 over the arms 3 and allow the members to drop into place. To lower the floor members they are first raised suiiiciently to allow the lock bars to drop 0H the arms 3v. vVha-t I claim is as follows:
