To all whom it may concern:

Be known that T, ALEXANDER li iLL, r of the United States, residing at the c,. y of llfobolren, Hudson county, in the State'of New Jersey, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Game Aptos, of which the following is afull,

specification. invention relates to improvements in go c appa tus, and the same has for its object more particularly to provide an appa ratus comprising essentially a support having two series of receptacles arranged thereon and one of said series disposed in a horizontal plane above the plane of the other of said series and a projectile loosely osed upon said receptacle adapted to be projected therefrom and caused to enter one of said receptacles. 15 denotes a series or" hemispherical receptacles arranged upon the plate or table 11 and surrounding said tube or nozzle 13. Said receptacles 15 are provided with nunierals or other indicating devices to desig' unto the values of said receptacles, such as 10., 20, 30, and 50. The value of said receptacles increases in value as the said receptacles recede from the nozzle 13 and approach the outer edge of said plate or table 11. v

16 denote supports or uprights which are detachably secured to the edge of the plate or table 11 in order to support the same in an elvatedposition. Each of said supports is formed of a rectangular post having a transverse recess 17 in one of its sides, of such size as to receive the edge of the plate or table 11 and hold the same in frictional engagement therein. At the lower end of each of said supports is secured a bearing 18 within which is mounted a roller 19.

Upon the upper end of each support or post 16 is secured a hemispherical receptacle 20 which is considerably larger in diameter than said receptacles 15 and is arranged in a horizontal plane considerably above the plane' of said receptacles 15. The said larger receptacles 20 are few in number as compared with the smaller receptacles 15 and are therefore accorded a higher relative value, in the present instance 100, which is materially greater than the highest value assigned to any receptacle secured to the plate or table 11.

The receptacles 15 and 20 maybe secured to their respective supports by'any suit-able means. In 1 the present construction the same are shown as secured in position by means of nails 21 provided with flat heads and passing centrally through the bases of said receptacles and into the supports therefor.

22 denotes a flexible rubber tube having one end secured to the portion of the nozzle 13 projecting below the plate or table 11. To the other end of such tube 22 is secured a bulb 23, or other suitable compression device.

24: denotes a projectile which is preferably made of light material such as cellumay be employed nozzle, a hollow projectile for said plate, and arranged bodily in loid and hollow and open at its base in order that the same may be readily fitted over the upwardly projecting end of the nozzle 13. The said projectile is made of such shape and dimension as to receive the compressed air blast delivered by said nozzle when the bulb 23 is compressed in order to cause said projectile to be thrown upwardly into the air a sutlieient distance to insure its falling into the outermost of the receptacles 15 or the receptacle 20 mounted on the upper ends of the support 16.

It will be quite obvious that instead of the bulb 28, any suitable compression device and that the same result may be obtained without the aid of a compression device by applying a suitable mouth piece to the outer end of the flexible tube 22 and blowing into the same.

Having thus described my invention what I claim and desire to secure by Letters latent is:

1. A game apparatus comprising a plate. meanstor supporting said plate arranged along the edges thereof, a nozzle projecting upwardly from said plate, receptacles arranged upon said plate and surrounding said adapted to be a second series of rethesupportingmeans a horizontal plane above the plane of said first mentioned receptacles, and means connected to said nozzle for projecting said projectile, substantially as specified.

2. A game apparatus com )rising a plate, means for supporting said plate in elevated osition arranged along the edges thereof and detachably engaging said edges, :1 nozzle extending through said plate, a series of receptacles arranged upon said plate and substantially covering the same, asecond series of larger receptacles arranged upon the up er ends of the supporting means for said p ate and arranged in a horizontal plane above the plane of said first mentioned receptacles, a hollow projectileadapted to be fitted upon said nozzle, a flexible tube connected to the lower end of said nozzle, and a compression device connected titted upon said nozzle, ceptacles mounted upon to the other end of said tube for projecting said projectile, substantially as specified.

3. A game apparatus comprising a plate, a plurality of detachable supports frictionallv engaging the edge of said plate intermediate their ends. a nozzle extending centrally through said plate, separate receptacles secured upon said plate and surrounding said nozzle; said receptacles having values indicated thereon increasing as the same rccede from said nozzle. a second series of receptacles mounted upon the ends of said detachable supports in a plane above said plate and the supports thereon. said second series of receptacles bearing values greater than those of any of the receptacles arranged upon said plate, a hollow projectile adapted to be fitted upon said nozzle, and a compression device connected to said nozzle t'or projecting said projectile, substantially as specified.
