IMPRovED PIE-STAMPERAND CUTTER.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same. n
To ali whom 'it may concern- Beit known that I, ALLEN HAWKES, of Providence, in the county of Providence, in the State of Rhode Island, have invented a newand improved Combined Mode of Stamping and Cutting the Tops of Pies; and
. Ido .hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference l marked thereon. f
The nature of my invention consists in the combi-y nation of a stamp and set of cutters aixed to one hase, which stamp and cutters operate together and at the same time, and which, pressed upon the tops of pies, will stamp and cut them ready for use.y l
To enable others to make and use my invention, I v will proceed t'o describe its construction' and v loper- Operator to save time in stamping and cutting, aud also to have the stamping and cutting more ornamental on the tops of pies, I a'ix a stamp as shown at A in the accompanyingdrawiug, and a set of cutters, B B, to tbe base C, the stamp and cutters being afiixed in any desired form. Thus the stamp and cutters being combined and aixed to one base, will, when used, stamp and cut at thel same time, whereby saving in .time and labor will be realized.
