lVhat l claim is:--
A ramping tool, comprising a rectangular metallietamping plate, a plurality of upwardly extending jaws secured at right angles to one face of said plate, said jaws being arranged eircumferentially so as to form a handle socket, the upper ends of all of said jaws being taperedto forni spurs, one of said jaws having an elongated eye or loop formed integrally therewith and extending substantially the length of the tapered portion of the spur for the reception of a' clamping ring, e tool handle formed so as to enter said socket, and a clamping' ring passing through said eye or loop and adapted to slide substantially the length of the loop, said ring engaging said jaws to hold said handle in rigid engagement with said tamping plate.h
