e it known that I, HARRY A. DOUGLAS, a citizen ot' the United States, residing at (lhicingo7 in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Reflecting Electric Lamps, `of which the following is a full, clear, concise, and exact description, reference being had 'to the accompanying drawings, forming a part oit' this specification.
My invention relates to reflecting electric lamps and has for its object the provision otf an improved construction whereby the shell that `incloses the conductors for including the lamp in circuit. may be employed for holding the back of the lamp and the lamp reflector in assembly. l

By turning the ring p the reflector Z) and the back (l, are brought the proper distance apart, in which operation the flange ff at the forward end of the reflector is pressed backwardly upon thc flange s of the back. 'lhe shell y/ thus performs a double function of housing the conductors which lead to the lainp and of holding the back a and reflector I; in proper relation.
