This invention relates to improvements rims for steering-Wheels of automobiles.
One object of this invention to provide a Wheel-rim of the character inclicateii which is exceedingly handsome in :zppearaiice.
Another object is to have the \Fl'iQE-Bl l'lifi simple and durable in coiiistruction.
With these objects View, thie invention consists in certain features of constructioin and combinations and arrangement of carts hereinafter described, pointed on in the claim, and illustrated in the acconipanyiilg drawings.
In the said drawings, Figure 1 a. plan View of a wheel-rim embodying; my invention. Fig. 2 a side View of the rim. I) a vertical section on line 5 5, 1, looking outwardly. Fig. 6 is a bottom plan of the rim, and in this figure a portion of the bottom section. of the rim is broken awayto more clearly Show the construction.
My improved Wheel-rim comtmises an annular wooden top section A, ancl an. annular wooden bottom section The sections A and. B are arranged. directly oppositely and glued or cemented together in any normed. manner. The section A (see Fig. 3) is provirlcil at its lmttom and centrally between the inner and, outer siclcs oi. the Wheel-rim with an annular recess (1 arranged antially concentrically relative to the Wheelrim. and the bottom section B (ace l 8) is provided at the top thereof and. central between the inner and outer sidoe of the Wheel-rim with an annular recess i; i(
