Be it known that l, HENRY M. Svnniiiins, a citizen of the United States, residing' at Chicago, in the county of Coolrand State of Illinois, have invented new and useful lmprovements in Garment-Pressers, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to pressing machines employed more especially by tailors and.y
clothing manufacturers for pressing garments, and my primary objects are to pro-1 vide a manually-operated machine for-the purpose above stated, which shalhbe ofstrong'and durable construction, by which: the iron shall be caused to exert relatively greatpresure with comparatively little e;-v

The frame of the machine is formed of a supported on spaced uprights 8, suitably braced together to provide a rigid structure, the bed 7 being pro-vided with leaves 9 hinged thereto, as indicated at 10, these leaves forming, when raised to the position illustrated in Figs. 5.and 6, extern.
