Abstract
The drive of knitting machine comprises an electric motor with housing and shaft which has two ends one of which extends beyond the housing, a belt drive with a drive pulley fixedly mounted on the end of the motor shaft and the driven pulley, and the block of mechanical transmissions with drive shaft which is connected to driven pulley, in addition, it is further equipped with a flywheel and an electromagnetic friction clutch that includes a driving and driven coupling half disk, wherein the second end of the shaft is located outside the housing, the flywheel and an electromagnetic friction clutch are installed on this end of the shaft, the driving half-clutch with discs is mounted as axially movable, and the driven coupling half with discs is rigidly connected to the flywheel.
