Abstract

The invention relates to small-sized floating vehicle for active recreation on water, tourism and sports. A water bicycle contains a body comprising a frame with a seat and a steering wheel attached thereon, a pedal drive connected to an engine, and has right and left levers of pedals mounted on a single axle and carrying elements, which are made in the form of a front hydrofoil attached to the steering wheel, and a rear hydrofoil mounted to the frame. A pedal drive is designed as a driving disk that is installed on a frame, and on which are attached right and left levers of pedals, and a propeller is made in the form of a flexible screw, which has front guides rigidly secured on the axle, and the blades are capable of fixing the angle of rotation and are pivotally attached to the front guides. A flexible screw mounted on an axle attached on the frame by means of racks pillars, and is driven by a driving disk through a belt drive and a reduction gear. The frame comprises a mount for installation of the bearing elements and engine, with possibility of adjustment of their position and inclination relative to the frame and to each other. The flexible screw may further comprise rear guides with a position clamp hingedly attached on the axle with possibility of rotation around the axle and moving along it and to which the blades are pivotally secured. The hydrofoils can be straight, curved, convex, or have any other shape. The water bike is a completely detachable device. Disclosed design allows to increase the efficiency of use of human muscle force, increase the speed and maneuverability of the bike, as well as the comfort in use through the development of a universal design concept with possibility of change and adjustment of the position of carrying elements and structures.
