Abstract
The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the rolling engineering, and can be used on continuous wide-strip rolling mills at hot rolling ultrathin strips (less than thick) made of IF-steel with carbon content less than 0.02 %. A method of hot rolling of hyperfine strips made of IF-steels on continuous wide-strip rolling mills includes heating slabs in continuous furnaces to the temperature of single-phase austenitic metal state, rolling breakdown bars in a roughing group of stands of continuous wide-strip rolling mills in the zone of temperatures of single-phase austenitic metal state, cooling the breakdown bars to the upper temperature limit of metal ferrite state and final rolling the hyperfine strips to the desired final thickness in the finish group of stands of continuous wide-strip rolling mills in the area of single-phase ferritic state of metal. Moreover, the temperature limits of the zone of single-phase ferritic state of metal is determined by corresponding equations for the upper and lower limits depending on the amount of carbon in the chemical composition of IF-steel. The invention allows to obtain in the finished rolled stock the required microstructure with uniform grain size.
