Abstract
The present invention relates to welding production, in particular to automated methods for applying by an electric arc welding of a coating of wear-resistant material on a part surface. A method of manufacturing a wear-resistant bimetallic sheet includes operations of applying by an electric arc welding of wear-resistant coating material on a rolled sheet of low-alloy steels and forced cooling the rolled sheet during arc welding thereon of a coating by acting on the opposite free surface of the rolled sheet by a coolant. The coating on the rolled sheets of wear resistant material by arc welding is carried out in layers, in the case at electric arc surfacing each next layer of wear-resistant coating material the heat input for each layer of arc welding is changed depending on the value of residual temperature of the rolled sheet with welded layers of coating, and forced cooling the rolled sheet by cooling fluid is carried out in the moment of excess therein of admissible heating temperature. An aqueous solution of sodium chloride is used as a cooling medium.
