Abstract

Disclosed is a method for destruction of ice on a water reservoir according to which under ice in water reservoir one or several charges of explosive substance are placed, and destruction of ice is carried out after initiation of blast or blasts under effect of explosive and flexture-gravitational waves. As explosive one uses gas charge, for instance stocheometric mixture of propane and oxygen, placed in elastic shell just under ice. To increase efficiency of use of energy of one or several charges to the shell for gas charge one additionally attaches one or several thermite charges, for instance of aluminum and ferric oxides, with initiation of those for evaporation of water and ice. The initiation of explosion or explosions of gas charge is performed in mode of gas detonation by means of gas-detonation device with formation of gas layer under ice after blast or blasts.
