Abstract

The invention relates to a track arrangement for transferring or loading at least one load unit (12), particularly a container or a swap body, from a railroad car to a vehicle, especially a truck, or a storage area, or vice versa. A main track (1, 10) and at least one service track (2) that branches off the main track (1, 10) are provided. In a track section that is closed off for safety reasons, preferably a transshipment terminal (3), the service track (2) is designed as a running track for the trains that are to be loaded and unloaded and is guided as a turnaround loop relative to the main track (1, 10) or the opposite track (1, 10a) of the main track (1, 10) in a closed arch, optionally with intermediate straight track sections. Next to the service track (2), rails (4) that are preferably embedded in a roadway (11) are provided for at least one traveling transfer device.
