Abstract

Disclosed is a shelf system comprising lateral load-bearing frames (10, 11) with supports (14, 15) and transversal bars (43, 44), each of which is made from (metallic) hollow profiled elements that are combined in a flush or congruent manner into a frame by means of special connecting members. A profiled support (26) is mounted within a groove (16). Said profiled support (26) encompasses supporting members for mounting transversally extending elements of the shelf system.
