Abstract

The invention relates to the methods for receiving metals by processing zinc-iron sludge and dust of wet and dry gas cleaning of blast furnace, open-hearth, converter and electric furnace steelmaking production and can be used to obtain zinc. A method includes mixing zinc-iron waste from carbon reducing agents in order to obtain the charge, forming charge moldings and their drying, high temperature processing of the charge moldings in the burning furnace by supplying heat-carrying agent, separation and settling of zinc oxide. At that the formation of charge moldings is carried out by pressing of charge moldings with thickness of 4-, and high processing of the pressed charge moldings is carried out at a temperature of 900-1100 °C for 0.5-1.0 hours. The use of the invention can increase the efficiency of processing zinc-containing waste of steel making.
