Abstract
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A method for concentration of converter slag-lime mix by secondary products of metallurgical and machine-building productions comprises the pouring of smelt from converter in ladle and caps, separation of slag-lime mix from alloy, addition to it of oxides and iron-containing secondary products metallurgical and machine-building productions, at that iron-containing secondary products are heated to temperature of 600 °C and charged into cap with slag-lime mix and is provided such conditions at which sum of oxide moles containing iron, manganese and silicon more amounts will lime in finishing product at such temperature of this slag-lime mix which allows interaction of secondary products with mix before their full assimilation in amount of 25-30 % from starting amount of mix. The invention allows to produce concentrated and stabilized converter slag, which in further use in sintering process.
