Abstract

A three-phase electric network with protection against geomagnetic storms relates to electric energy and meant for usage in high-voltage networks both under normal conditions and in emergency state, in case of missing one of phases of the power transmission line. The three phase electric network comprises: an overhead transmission line, a power transformer provided with a clamp of zero phase, earthing circuit, a breaker in solid earth of zero phases, a device foralmost direct current drainage in every substation. The device for almost direct current drainage is performed on the base of zero current filters according circuit “three-phase half-fork”, a zigzag, lambda or on the base of combination of said circuits with in series connected winding in open triangle. The device for almost direct currents drainage may be performed both on three-leg magnetic core and two-leg magnetic core that simplifies transportation and mounting of the said device. The three-phase electric network is protected against magnetic storms, has minor set power, less sensitive to line unsymmetry and to spontaneous magnetization in comparison to prototype.
