Abstract
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely – to the method of control of the process of heating the monolithic refractory lining for casting ladles. A method of control of the process of heating a monolithic refractory lining for casting ladles involves feeding gaseous fuel and combustion air into a workspace of casting ladles in accordance with specified process parameters on the base of heat balance of the casting ladles, in the case the gaseous fuel and combustion air are supplied at the rate providing combustion thereof with maximum allowable rate of fuel consumption α = 1.05-1.10 and heating temperature of refractory lining of ladle 900-1200 °C, during fuel supply continuous measurement of the process parameters of casting ladles is carried out, then they are compared with specified process parameters and in the case of deviation of measured process parameters from the specified parameters the adjustment of consumption of gaseous fuel is carried out according to the following relationship: EMBED Equation.3 , where EMBED Equation.3 - consumption of gaseous fuel, m3/h, EMBED Equation.3 - amount of heat accumulated by refractory lining at current heating, W, defined by the formula EMBED Equation.3 , where: EMBED Equation.3 - surface temperature of the refractory lining at current heating, °C, EMBED Equation.3 - surface area of refractory lining, m2, EMBED Equation.3 - thickness of refractory lining, m, EMBED Equation.3 - heat conductivity factor of refractory lining at current heating, W/mK, EMBED Equation.3 - amount of heat accumulated by refractory lining at pre-heating, W, defined by the formula: EMBED Equation.3 , where EMBED Equation.3 - surface temperature of the refractory lining at preliminary heating, °C, EMBED Equation.3 - heat conductivity factor of the refractory lining at preheating, W/mK, EMBED Equation.3 - loss of heat by ladle with exhaust gases, radiation and thermal conductivity making 0.2 from EMBED Equation.3 , W, EMBED Equation.3 - coefficient of heat utilization of fuel calculated by the formula EMBED Equation.3 , where: EMBED Equation.3 - heat of combustion of gaseous fuel, kJ/m3, EMBED Equation.3 - loss of heat with exhaust gases kJ/m3, and the duration of heating the refractory lining is determined by the following equation: EMBED Equation.3 , where: EMBED Equation.3 - duration of heating the refractory lining, hr, EMBED Equation.3 - depth of penetration of thermal waves, m The invention provides reduction of fuel consumption while ensuring required temperature of lining and increase of its stability.
