Abstract

The invention relates to the ferrous metallurgy. The compact material for ladle treatment of cast iron is claimed, which consists of powder core-filler placed in a steel casing, which includes fining slag mixture containing burned dolomite (BDM), iron-graphite waste (IGW) of the blast-furnace production – "refining foam" and aluminosilicate phase of screening chamotte refractory (SCR) at the following ratio of components: BDM:IGW:SCR=1:(1-3):(1-2). The mixture should correspond to the stoichiometric composition of eutectic aluminum silicate 3CaOMgOAlO3SiO. Technical result is high efficiency of liquid cast iron processing and a low value of the new material.
