Abstract

The invention relates to the technology for the preparation of continuous mineral fibers. A process for the production of mineral fibers consists in formation in feeder of section of melt sampling in such a way, that the ratio of melt height in feeder to the height of sampling area ranges within 3.4-20. The process provides the increasing of fiber quality by decreasing of its breakage at stretching.
