The use of iodinemethylate-4-(N-benzene-carbamidopyridinium (Isamben) as the agent for treating the gastrointestinal diseases of the calves with diarrhea has been proposed. Isamben is non-steroid anti-inflammatory agent possessing anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic activities. The invention relates to the physiologically active substances and may be used in veterinary for treating the gastrointestinal diseases of the newborn calves.
