Abstract

The invention relates to the sport equipment, namely to a billiard cue, predominantly for Russian pyramid. The billiard cue contains the shaft (10) and the butt (20), and at least one non-demountable joint fastening with the adhesive binding (30) of two elements, front and rear joined with their end-faces (40, 50). At the joining site, the alternating end-face grooves (41, 51) and wedge-shaped end-face pins (42, 52) are made with the dihedral internal surfaces (42а, 52а). The elements are connected via the inserts of various species of wood. According to the invention, in the joint fastening with the adhesive binding ten inserts represents at least on whole-piece made of the hard species of wood (60). Each insert consists of the alternating end-face grooves (61) and wedge-shaped end-face pins (62) made with the dihedral internal surfaces (62а) with their shapes being similar to that of the dihedral internal surfaces (42а) of the wedge-shaped end-face pins (42) of the frontal composite element (40). Outside the wedge-shaped end-face pins (62) of the intermediary element (60), the longitudinal grooves (63) are made with the dihedral internal walls (63a) with their shapes being similar to that of the dihedral internal surfaces (42a) of the wedge-shaped end-face pins (42) of the frontal composite element (40). The improved cue has the increased longitudinal hardness providing for the precision and the elasticity of the cue cut.
