Abstract

A slider box for a low voltage distribution device has a number of switch devices with a copper bus (14). Every switch device (12) has from both sides of a contact bank (22) at least one contact finger (18) and a spring, which are held by a holder. Opposite fingers and corresponding spring form a mechanical unit laid in halves of the holder. After pulling halves of the holder to the contact bank, fingers form a mechanical unit, which moves as a one whole along the contact bank from disconnecting position to working position and backwards. According to the invention, the contact bank becomes thin towards the end, thereby moving along the contact bank the opposite fingers bend one towards another.
