Abstract

The invention relates to metallurgy and mining-metallurgy. A method for purification of iron ore from arsenic and phosphorus comprises the grinding of ore, preliminary sintering, leaching of arsenic and phosphorus with solution of inorganic reagent and separation of liquid phase from solid phase, at that grinded ore is additionally agitated with carbon reduction agent and carbonate slime, preliminary sintering of a mix is carried out in oxygen-containing medium and obtained product is cooled with water or alkali aqueous solution and magnetically concentrated in the presence of aqueous solution of inorganic reagent. The invention increases the content of iron in ore at low content of arsenic and phosphorus.
